Freedom

Whenever we talk about women generally everybody's mind clicks to a word that is "FREEDOM". It's not because women are symbol of freedom, but because they need it mostly in their life. Ironically being a part of a society where right to equality (Article 14-18) and right to freedom (Articles 19-22) are Fundamental Rights of Indian Constitution, women are still treated as unequals and are still in need of freedom. We learn and grow through observing our surroundings, society and family, and like this we have also learnt how to treat the women in our lives. Most of the time women are being taught to get married and devote all of her time to her husband and in-laws. She is being taught to sacrifice her self-respect in case her husband beats her, insults her, locks her in the house or sexually abuses her. It's not just the men but some women also thinks the same. Even after accepting everything, women just want Freedom and Independence to enjoy their 'basic rights' which are provided by our so called Constitution. Sarcastically being a part of generation where we are trying to make advancement of life on another planet many people are still unable to get advancement in getting their basic right fulfilled. Still it's the dream of some women to be educated. As it is also clearly visible in the IGTV video that the woman wishes to be educated even before marriage and still after being a mother. 'She just want an educated life to live a life of dignity'. Still many women are deprived of this basic right of education and of freedom. "Let's have freedom to live as OURSELVES, not as your daughter, sister, friend, wife or mother". Because it's not Our Request, it's Our Basic Right .
